About me

Hi, I’m Synclair.

My life as I know it started when I was at Cornell University. I was living my dream when suddenly I began experiencing health trials that changed my life entirely.

Eventually after years of food intolerances, diet adjustments, doctor visits, two autoimmune disease diagnoses, and a few hospitalization visits–I felt hopeless. One day I cried out to God, asking if He could please tell me what I should eat to feel better. That night, I fell asleep and had a dream where I read these words in the Bible “Jesus ate paleo”.

Although I knew that statement was not factual, I nonetheless gave it a try. The next day, I drove to a Byrne Dairy, bought an ice cream sammie, savored it in the parking lot, and prayed for self-control because I knew this would be the last one I could ever eat. Then I started the paleo diet.

What came within the next few months was something I could have never imagined. The bruises covering my body disappeared, my skin cleared, I had much more energy, my inflammation decreased, and my internal bleeding stopped. It has been four years and I praise God that my prayer for self-control is still answered daily.

Now I live in my hometown in Los Angeles County, California. In my free time, I like to bake delicious paleo desserts, read, do photography, or spend time with my family. Oh, and I love to share my story by writing blogs that I hope are uplifting to others.

Have hope for your health by reading my blogs:
